Over the weekend I organized a wedding shower for one of the girls at church. We have never hosted a 'couples shower' but it was fun. (we don't have to poll the men though to see how they survived). The main game we played was like Pictionary and the 2 teams had to draw a wedding related item while their team guessed. It brought a lot of laughter! I suggest that one if you are in mixed company because it's easy for men and women alike to do!
Ya'll know I've been doing the Financial Peace University and trying to do a better job about saving and the spending. I read on pinterest about the $5 savings plan. Every time you come across a $5 bill, put it in a jar. I've decided to try it and here is my cute jar/vase/whatever it is. Of course I happened to have 2 $5 bills in my wallet at this time but baby steps here people! Got to start somewhere! ha!

And lastly, these earrings have been hitting the blog world by storm! Naturally I don't want to be left behind and am contemplating buying them. I've been doing mental inventory on what I would wear them with and according to the comments/pictures people have been posting...EVERYTHING! lol.
I'm also considering these instead if I can't pull the trigger and just purchase. Decisions, decisions!
